Yoga Hip Openers – Guided by Michael Plasha


Michael Plasha, E-RYT 500, RPYT and YACEP has been studying and practicing yoga and meditation for over 45 years. These are registry marks by Yoga Alliance for levels of yoga teaching standards. E-RYT 500 is their highest level including 500 hours of training and thousands of hours of teaching.  RPYT means registered prenatal yoga teacher and YACEP is Yoga Alliance continuing education provider. I love hip openers! They feel wonderful after sitting at work or after too much activity. This beginner level 17-minute sequence will begin to prepare your body for deeper hip openers and sitting on the floor comfortably for meditation. Not recommended if you have an artificial hip or sciatica or any lower back issues.

Not all yoga is suitable for everyone. To reduce strain or risk of injury, consult your doctor before beginning this program or any exercise.
