This 50 minute practice includes a 26-minute deep relaxation practice (Yoga Nidra). During this practice, please lie on your left side with a pillow under your head and one between the knees. Did you know 15 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equal to two hours of sleep? Being sleep deprived is common during pregnancy and raising children. I should know, I have raised 7! This sequence also includes postures and movements suitable for the second and third trimester. You may want to use a wall for triangle to maintain your balance. Please consult with your doctor before doing this and make sure you have no contraindications.
I am registered as a R-PYT (registered prenatal yoga teacher) and was certified by the Integral Yoga Institute in 1998. Our training was 130 hours and exceeded the Yoga Alliance standard.
